THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

In a year when many manufacturers consolidated product ranges rather than investing in new product developments, leading manufacturer of showering solutions, Creda Showers, embarked on its most significant programme of new product introductions for many years.

Creda Showers has been manufacturing showering solutions for many years and, in that time the company has witnessed the many ‘rises and falls’ of the UK construction market. The last 12 to 18 months has been, without doubt, one of the most challenging periods during the company’s history thanks to the far-reaching and damaging effects of the global recession. “Our competitors have had digital showering products within their ranges for a while now, but we took the decision not to jump on the bandwagon of the new ‘digital phenomenon’ and instead took our time developing our product, ensuring that we were able to offer customers the best possible technology at the best possible price,” continued Kevin. “Given the current economic climate and the fact that consumers are now being much more careful with money, it could be easy to assume that the cost of digital technology will still be too prohibitive for many. Creda Showers also strongly supports the Government’s recent revisions to Part G of the Building Regulations but believes more can still be done.

“It is encouraging that the Government is doing something to tackle the issues of hot water safety and water efficiency with the latest amends to the Building Regulations,” commented Kevin. “Hot water safety is something Creda Showers takes very seriously. However, it is important to note that the new regulations only affect new build properties and do not stipulate specific safety measures for showers. Therefore, it still remains the role of manufacturers and merchants to continue to educate customers about these important issues, helping them to understand the importance of products that offer additional safety features, particularly for households with young children, elderly or less able people.”
